Responsibilities: Custom design and die, iconography, typography, paper selection, production art, copywriting
I overhauled all of the existing materials for this financial company's Correspondent Lending Division. I organized the current presentation materials and designed a presentation folder. I analyzed the instructions sheet, rewrote it, & checked the file upload sites and distribution emails outlined on the sheet. I created a custom letterhead and made new application sheets and document checklists. All of the materials fit nicely inside of the folder, and include information about the company, as well as sign up materials and resources.
This is a brochure I designed for a local financial company as they reached out to other businesses urging them to service loans locally. Printed on 80LB linen stock.
This is a rebrand for a live music venue. The venue, Aggie Central Station, has a nostalgic, retro vibe. I wanted to incorporate elements of an old train station combined with vintage and retro colors. I created a custom typeface for the brand, iconography, brand assets, collateral, merch, and marketing materials.
The music venue is located in a college town and had already developed a cult following. It was important to make the brand adaptable, quirky and fun. Marketing techniques were considered to increase brand recognition as well.
I designed ads and landing pages for a local financial company. The ads appeared on Pandora (with an audio component) and were targeted locally to different demographics.
I created a separate landing page for each ad and optimized the form. I added "Call Now" and "Our Reviews" buttons, and implemented tracking pixels for form submission and upon button click.
Social Media Campaign
A local financial company has been in Kansas City for over 60 years. With great business ethics and great recognition within the Kansas City community, it's important for them to stay top of mind for Kansas City customers!
Many of their customers appreciate the trustworthy, family-owned, timeless feel of the company. They had participated in The KC St. Patrick's Day Parade since it started- and it was the perfect opportunity to reinforce their recognition in KC.
For this project, I photographed the parade, edited, and uploaded to social media within an hour. I targeted the posts with competitive budgets. I also coordinated sponsorship programs with Fox 4 News.
We received great feedback on the images and reinforced the community recognition for the company!
My good friend, Natalie Birzer, wrote a young adult novel that was recently published. She asked me to design a cover that would appeal to the novel's young audience.
A cliche pair of pink heels stand atop a candy pink, colonial mansion. Underneath, different sized houses are lined up in hierarchical rows. It looks pretty, mean, and shallow- however, the message of the book is ultimately a good one.
James Victore Product Packaging
This is a product/packaging component for artist James Victore. Website for mobile and desktop were designed as well.
These are digitally appropriated ads from the 50's and 60's. I found real images of women in advertising today and replaced them to create an ironic message. The resulting images were successful in sparking a heated debate.
I have a deep love for Photography & Photojournalism. This is a selection of work I've shot for various clients over the years. I've experimented with many different aesthetic styles, editing styles, and lenses. Find more of my work at: noveltyimages.com
I created an exhibit featuring 20+ large scale digital prints taken during my summer in Yellowstone National Park. Most of the images are digital composites.
Kansas City Prints
This collection was shot in Kansas City, KS. It's a collection of portraits of the people that live there and the landscape they live in.
These are scans of the original prints of the project.
